Things to do at the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges

Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges is the best known of the three hanging-bridge parks near La Fortuna, laid out on the north-western shore of Lake Arenal, about a 20 to 25 minute drive from town.

The self-guided trail runs roughly 3 km through rainforest and crosses 16 structures in total, six of them suspended hanging bridges, the tallest offering a clear view toward the Arenal cone when cloud allows. Entry runs around 26 to 33 USD for a day visit, more with an early-morning or night-walk guided option, and the loop takes about 2 to 3 hours at an unhurried pace.

This is not the same park as Sky Adventures Arenal or the Arenal Hanging Bridges on the Peninsula side; their bridges, prices and routes differ, so confirm which park a booking actually names before paying.
