Things to do at Selvatura Park

Selvatura Park sits on the Santa Elena side of the Monteverde cloud forest, about 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours by road from La Fortuna (roughly 3 hours via the jeep-boat-jeep across Lake Arenal).

It bundles a hanging bridges walk, a zipline canopy tour and an insect and reptile exhibit under one entrance ticket, so you pay once for several hours rather than booking each activity separately.

The eight suspension bridges here run through primary cloud forest at around 1,400 metres, where mist and drizzle are normal even in the dry season from December to April. Tickets are sold combined or separately at the gate, starting from roughly 40 USD for the bridges alone.
